The Gugg Piano Duo is the winner of the International Competition Franz Schubert and Modern Music 2025 and regularly performs in important concert halls – most recently in the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Brahms Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, the Stefaniensaal of the Musikverein Graz and the Athenaeum in Bucharest.

Tereza Gugg-Kalabova and Johannes Gugg met at the age of 14 in the course for highly gifted students at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. At the suggestion of their professor at the time, they began making music together and won national and international prizes after just a few months. Over the years, they developed an intuitive musical interplay and a deep personal connection; today, they are married and, in the words of Kleine Zeitung, “inseparable both in life and at the piano”.
